Oh Hey

I'm Hailey and I made this blog on a complete whim. I think I'm having an eighteen-year-old mid-life crisis and making a blog just seemed fit for my current lifestyle. 

So here's a little bit about me. 
I'm from Utah, where I was born and raised. Utah is so beautiful and I love it. Right now I live in Rexburg, Idaho, where I attend BYU-Idaho. I'm LDS, if you didn't gather that from the BYU thing. I have a very firm testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I would be completely lost and not half the person I am without it. Anyway, I have only been here in Rexburg for a little over two months, but as far as I know, it's an awesome place to live as a college student and I love it. Coming to BYU-Idaho was probably one of the best decisions I've ever made. Being an adult is pretty scary but I have been able to feel comfort here and have the strength to learn how to live on my own. I feel the spirit so strong here and there is just so much to love, excluding the cold weather.

I come from a family of seven including my dog. My parents are separated. I have three sisters, and I stand as the second oldest. I have a special relationship with each member of my family (definitely including my dog) and I love them all so dearly. I am so blessed and grateful to have them, and I sure do miss them up here at college.

What do I like to do? Well,
I like to be outdoors. Hiking, camping, or just sitting in the sun is the best. I just like the outside and all the adventures you can have out there. I don't like sports too much though, because I'm embarrassingly bad at everything that requires coordination.

Dance is my favorite thing in the whole world. I love everything about it. I don't want to go into depth right now because once I start, I'll never stop. Being at college where I can't do all the competitions and performances I spent so many previous years doing is so sad. I miss it. But next semester, I am trying out for the Collegiate Dance Program up here. So, fingers crossed for that.
I also kind of play piano. I say kind of because I haven't for a really long time, but I'm starting to pick it back up again.
I love to read. It's nerdy, but books are seriously the best. Like is there even a better feeling than being so into a book that you don't want to ever put it down? Maybe there is..but not for me, for now.
I want to travel so bad! This is the first time I've been on my own so I obviously haven't done much of it. But I know that I want to do a whole bunch of it in the future. The world is so super cool, I just wish I could see everything. 
I like to do some other miscellaneous things, but this is already such a boring post I'm not going to go there. There is a lot about me that will just come published with my other blog posts. Not like there will be very many viewers besides myself.
